Tribeca Loft
Franklin Street, Manhattan
"The shoot was in 36 hours. I needed every surface to look like it had never been touched by a human hand."
— Meredith Holloway, Art Director
A 3,200 sq ft open-plan loft used as a live-work studio for six months. Paint dust in the grout lines. Coffee rings on the concrete island. A bathroom the photographer had specifically flagged.
Degreased hood, polished concrete counters, cleaned grout with pH-neutral enzyme solution. Cabinet faces wiped top to bottom.
Descaled shower glass with oxalic acid. Resealed chrome fixtures. Grout whitened. Not a water spot left on the mirror.
Dusted exposed ductwork. Cleaned floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides. Polished concrete floors with dry microfiber system.
Hand-wiped every linear foot. Addressed paint transfer and pencil marks from production pinboards.
The photographer arrived the next morning and asked if the space had been recently renovated. It had not. Total time on-site: 6 hours, 20 minutes.
